Patricia's Scrambler Therapy Treatment

Patricia - Peripheral Neuropathy and Lower Back Pain

“I want to share with others that this really works!” - Patricia

Patricia has suffered from peripheral neuropathy and lower back pain for decades. Her daughter, an RN, shared "my mom has been in pain since the day I was born - in and out of the hospital, doctors offices - for as long as I can remember."

When Patricia arrived, her pain was an 8 (out of 10) on her feet. Her toes were "white knuckled" and stiff - muscles tense because of the pain, and she used a cane to walk. Help was needed getting in and out of the car. She tried to limit her walking as much as possible to avoid making the pain even worse. Over the decades she has tried everything from lotions and creams to massage to heavier drugs. A little, temporary relief was achievable, but not for long.

With a grandson on the way, she desperately wanted a solution that would give her the life she once knew back. A life filled with dancing, baking, a trip to the grocery store that would not leave her in bed for the rest of the day, and fun games of "chase" with the young grandchildren when they came to visit.

When she heard about Scrambler Therapy, she thought it couldn't hurt to try. She came in needing help out of her car, and walked carefully with a cane. Her constant coughs from COPD could be heard through the elevators doors as she entered the waiting room.

With multiple chronic neuropathic pain areas (back, legs, feet), it took a few minutes to find just the right configuration of the electrodes. Minor adjustments and adding additional channels allowed the provider to find just the right spot and configuration - then the pain dissipated - from an 8 to a zero! Patricia's shock turned to tears of joy as she almost couldn't believe it herself. As the 30 minute treatment continued, her daughter remarks: "mom, look at your feet. Your toes are relaxing and the color is coming back!" By the end of the treatment, her toes were relaxed, skin color looked normal, and the pain was gone.

She walked out, no cane needed, and got into the car all by herself. And that constant, 24/7/365 cough that kept waking her up at night? It stopped after the first treatment and didn't come back (no, Scrambler Therapy does NOT treat COPD, but her symptoms stopped after the pain went away).

As with most patients, Patricia's pain returned shortly after her 1st treatment. She continued daily treatments, with the pain staying away longer and longer after each treatment, until she was pain free for 24 hours. Then 48 hours.
